Our Mission Statement: The Mount Horeb High School Social Justice Club's goal is to increase and promote equality. We will create a fair and equitable learning environment, provide opportunities for discussion, and deepen the understanding of what social justice is. We strive for equality, unity, understanding, diversity, belonging, and acceptance for all.

 

Our goal is to help all students gain knowledge about their community & how to improve it.  Members are made aware of what is happening currently in the Mount Horeb community & country through discussions about important current events.

 

Activities that students may participate in through the club include watching & analyzing movies through a social justice lens, engaging in discussions related to social justice cases, attending presentations by local advocates, joining cultural celebrations & participating in social justice forums.

 

Social Justice meetings are held on Mondays during STAT 2 in room 207. Talk to Mr. Mac to join.
