Back to School Events
Drop-In Night - On Aug. 28th from 4:00-6:00 PM, we invite all families to the IC to visit their child's classrooms, drop-off school supplies, and greet their teachers. This is an informal visit to help students feel more comfortable on the first day and ease their transition.
New Family Welcome - New to the community or the Intermediate Center? At 5:00 PM on Aug. 28th, families who are new to the district are invited to a brief presentation in the IC Cafeteria with the principal to receive an overview of the Intermediate Center and take a tour of the school with the school counselor.
3rd Grade Orientation - For our 3rd grade families, we ask that you join your child’s teacher for an evening orientation on Sept. 10th at 5:30 PM. The goal is to inform families of practices and procedures that are new as students transition to 3rd grade and upper elementary school. Come learn how to succeed in 3rd grade!
4th and 5th Grade Open House - On Oct. 3rd at 5:30 PM, we invite all 4th and 5th grade students and their families to come to school and learn more about their child's teachers, academic goals, specials classes, and school programs. We would love to see all 4th and 5th grade families attend and continue building a strong school-home relationship with this year’s teachers.
